Business introductions
A manufacturing business buyer for brokers and advisers
Spark Equity welcomes introductions to profitable Australian manufacturing and industrial businesses. We are a Melbourne-based owner and operator with a long-term holding approach. Brokers, accountants and corporate advisers can start with a short summary of the opportunity.

Discuss your business with WillStart with the business and the owner’s objective
A useful introduction explains what the business makes or does, where it operates and why the owner is considering a transition. An initial discussion can establish whether there is a fit before a full information exchange.
- Sector, location and the main products or services.
- Indicative revenue and earnings, with the period and basis clearly identified.
- The owner’s desired timing and proposed involvement after a sale.
- Your role in the process, any existing mandate and how you would like communication handled.
The kind of business we look for
Our published acquisition focus includes manufacturing, fabrication and industrial services, with EBITDA generally between $500,000 and $3 million or more. Victoria is our primary geography; other opportunities are considered on their merits.
The acquisition approach page sets out the current published criteria. An introduction is a starting point for discussion, not a commitment to transact.
Agree the process before sharing detailed information
Use an initial summary to describe the opportunity. Discuss confidentiality requirements and the appropriate channel before sending customer records, employee details or sensitive documents.
Please identify any proposed engagement or referral arrangement at the outset. Fees, exclusivity, confidentiality terms and transaction terms need specific agreement; this page does not set those terms.
An operating platform to assess
Spark Equity owns Ultralift Australia and Westberg Sheetmetal, based in Heidelberg West. Their public operating profiles explain the products and manufacturing capabilities behind the platform.
For a first conversation, use the contact page and select “Intermediary/broker”. Include the broad opportunity, your contact details and your role.
